The Haverstraw Youth Theater is a youth group performing plays written by Samuel more appropriate for an adolescent audience. The photograph on the right is of the stage in the auditorium beneath the Church. While relatively small, it is fully functional including lighting and stage curtains. The auditorium has a full kitchen which can be used to provide catering for "Dinner and a Play" nights.
The Haverstraw Youth Theater had its inaugural production,
Brown Eyes Quintero, (See
Past Shows for details about the play) in April of 2003. It was well received by the distinguished audience including the Mayor, Francis J Wassmer Jr., The town Supervisor, Howard T Phillips Jr. and most of the town board.
